This privacy policy explains how MyStride.run processes personal data during the free launch phase.

Data We Process

• Search inputs such as artist, BPM, accuracy, and playlist settings.
• Generated playlists, playlist UUIDs, tracks, BPM values, and Spotify track identifiers.
• Call-to-action click events, including the name of the clicked button and timestamp.
• Email addresses submitted for export updates or future playlist features.
• Spotify account information after Spotify login: Spotify account id, Spotify user id, email address, display name, created playlist id, and created playlist URL.
• Technical server logs such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent, status code, and error details.

Spotify Login and Export

When you use Spotify export, you are redirected to Spotify for authorization. MyStride.run uses the returned access token only to read your Spotify profile, create a private playlist, and add selected tracks. Spotify access tokens are used transiently and are not stored.

Email Addresses

Email addresses submitted in the app are stored in the application database and are used only for the requested update or playlist-related feature. They are not sent to Mailchimp, Brevo, Buttondown, Resend, or similar mailing-list providers during the free launch phase.

Cookies

MyStride.run uses strictly necessary cookies for short-lived interface messages, for example to show a playlist status notice after a redirect. No analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies are used during the free launch phase.

Analytics

No analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Plausible, Umami, PostHog, or similar services are used during the free launch phase.

Third-Party Services

• Spotify is used for track metadata, user authorization, and playlist creation.
• GetSongBPM is used to look up BPM data for songs.
• Contabo (EU) hosts the application infrastructure.

Legal Basis

Data is processed to provide the requested service, to store playlists and update subscriptions, to export user-requested playlists into connected Spotify accounts, to operate the website securely, and to improve the product based on aggregate usage signals.

Retention

Playlist and cache data may be retained so playlists can be reopened and BPM lookups do not have to be repeated unnecessarily. Email subscriptions and Spotify export records are retained until they are no longer needed or until deletion is requested. Server logs are retained only as long as needed for operations and security.

Your Rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data. You may also object to processing where applicable. To exercise these rights, contact mystride@ntlx.org.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

Changes

This policy may be updated as MyStride.run adds paid features, analytics, payment providers, or additional integrations.
